Repeal the New State Income Tax

Stop the Creep Before It Spreads to Working Families

No one has a moral right to the product of another person’s labor. An income tax is simply government claiming ownership over your life and the fruits of your effort.

Fellow Washingtonians,

My opponent claims to be fixing our state's regressive tax code, yet she ignores the most burdensome taxes — our high sales tax and the cascading Business and Occupation (B & O) tax. Instead, she sponsored the 9.9% "Millionaires Tax," which opens the door to broader income taxation on working families.

Repealing this tax is my top priority. Once the door is cracked open for an income tax, history shows it never stays limited to the wealthy. It will spread, just like it has in other states.

My Plan to Stop the Income Tax

Repeal the "Millionaires Tax" Immediately

Strike this dangerous precedent from the books before it expands beyond the wealthy.

Reform the B & O and Sales Tax Structure

Address the real regressive taxes that hurt families and small businesses instead of layering on new income taxes.

Protect Working Families from Tax Creep

Ensure no new income tax can be passed without broad voter approval and clear limits.

Cut Waste Instead of Raising Taxes

Focus on reducing government spending and inefficiency rather than punishing success.

We don't need more taxes — we need a government that lives within its means.

Self-reliance beats dependence. Innovation beats ideology.

Together, we can make Washington golden.
